Here's the deal: we're making layouts for a magazine that's supposed to represent us. So the cover has the student name and it plus three spreads are supposed to revolve around one aspect/hobby/trait that we have.
Being a dork and given the fact I grew up on (and with) videogames, I decided to throw out these roughs:

A charicature of me looking around piles of games. The top header is supposed to mimic the PlayStation 2 font.

Me and Link. This would be the start of growing up with games - I literally was weaned on 8-bit stuff, Zelda being the most memorable game of my childhood. This is why the characters look so young.

Round 1? Fighting against Ryu - as an adolescent I grew up heavily on fighting games, Street Fighter 2 being the my favorite. So as the games got more complex in graphics and gameplay I was also maturing. Make your jokes now.

SNAKE! *ahem* Games have finally reached a level of Hollywood-appeal, can reach the mainstream and have acheived a sort of adulthood. Which brings us to the now - plus my unusual fascination with MGS.
So that's the concept, more or less. I hope to bump this with further revisions as I work the layouts over the next two weeks. Any feed back is welcome.
