Overall the game was an entertaining experience, but outside of the hand-to-hand combat it never came with anything fresh. It lacked that real erie feel of SH and it's shock level didn't match that of any RE.
My biggest complaint with the game is that it held your hamd thru all the puzzles (forensic collection), if you can even call them puzzles. They were more like mildly-interactive cutsceens.
Second biggest complaint is the design of the last level. I'll leave it at that.
Worth a rental or a purchase at <$30, but nothing more.
Monolith has let me down with both this and FEAR. Both good games, but both lacked that NOLF polish.
