Wow, youre really fucking cool.

I always looked at this way.

No matter what types of songs you write, if there is some kind of power ballad progression in there, you've just written an emo song.

Also even when your talking about animals or taxi-cabs, your really talking about girls.

man, I got really screwed over. I knew right after I got out of highschool, many of the things I liked fashion wise would become cool. I never win the fashion war. I was to late for 80s metal, and to old for the "OMG I'M A ROCKSTAR" 2000s.

the day I cut my hair short will be the day long hair is "in". The only reason being gay is cool now is probably because I dig chicks.

Since when was goth cool? Sure, the chicks are hot and generally put out, but that's about as good as that scene gets.

I don't know if that is a jab at metalhead's or not. But if it is I would like to say that the only really consistent thing in metal style is the long hair, and not even that is required. Hell, shaving your head is just as metal as long hair. Tight pink spandex is just as metal as dark earth toned pants. Ect ect.

Sure there are a lot of 16 year olds who dress in all black, but that has more to do with being an angsty bitch and/or hating preppie yuppie people than metal music.

It seemed pretty mainstream then too.

Man, the styles changed so much during the time I was in high school. When I started in 1988 it was all mullets and tight jeans, then it went to MC Hammer pants and bowl haircuts, then to green/brown grunge clothes.

Goth kids are just almost smart kids who hate the really dumb kids, and refuse to look anything like them. Teenagers hate all other teenagers, because all the other teenagers are stupid.
