Wilson, "I run perpindicular to the percieved left-right political spectrum" And while yes, the terms have been around, they were never generally used as say, a reason to vote for a politician, until the 1980's.

Conservatives and Liberals are words mainly used to bash someone. Everyone in a way is conservative and Liberal. You really shouldn't take offense at it.

However this is 11th grade logic. Chances are you won't take it seriously.

The thing you described isn't just a black thing. A lot of today's youth think that is the way to be. That you should act a fool, and learning is a way for the man to control you. There are people of all races and comunity's who believe that crap.

Oh dear Lord, BELIEVE ME man, I have racked my brain for years trying to figure this out.

Short of going medival and leveling every media conglomerate in this country with 30 tons of C4 the only way people like this will ever change is through a life-altering event that forces them to see what ignorant idiots they've made themselves into. For many this happens with time and age as they suddenly wake up and realize that the road they've chosen has taken them nowhere. Society begins to apply pressure on them and they come to the understanding that if they want to survive they had better play the game like everyone else.

For others (like me) who are simply too fucking stubborn to see anything else other than what they know there are only two effective options. Prison or the grave. I always tell people that prison was the best thing that ever happened to me because that's where I met Jesus. I mean I knew Him before, but it was the first time He and I were able to sit down and just have a straight-up heart to heart. Prior to that I was too busy running around acting like a goddamned fool to hear Him.

Understand, religion is not my thing. I have never been, nor will I ever be a religious person because I hate all religion with bloody blue passion. I see what religion does to people's minds. What I crave and what I have is a deeply personal relationship with a God who has sworn to me that He will never abandon me. This was the turning point for me and what got me walking on the straight and narrow.

Cliché as it is to say this, Love is the answer.

Pay attention now, that's Love with a capital "L". Don't mistake this for the love of man. Man's love is conditional and subject to whim and mood and can be withdrawn as easily as it is given. People who rely of the love of men are fools because love almost always comes with a price tag.

Now Love on the other hand is absolutely unconditional. This type of agapé love is rarely seen within man, but it is possible. Nevertheless, this Love is a key that can cause all kinds of changes in person. I am living proof of this (this is one of the reasons I am so vehement about God's existence). I have heard countless testimonies of men and women like myself who were utterly lost at one point.

Then they became partakers of this Love and everything began to turn around inside of them. Many of them are still "High on the Holy Ghost", as we say in the Church, years after they received Love as their salvation. Even in the face of murdered family members, bankruptcy, health failure, family strife and dozens of tests of their faith, they still believe in Love.

Personally I believe in Love as the answer to everything, but not everyone has faith in Love so what can you do?

Now, they're used to describe somebodies idealogy. Calling me a Conservative certainly is not going to hurt my feelings as calling g0zen (my complete opposite TNL evil twin) a Liberal isn't going to hurt his, because that's what we are.
