I don't think so. The GBA2 will come out 2006 at the least. That wil 2 years after the DS and will be similar to the GBA to GBA SP situation that worked perfectly for Nintendo.Quote:

This isn't a train of thought I can personally understand, but I do get that other people will agree with it. The thing is, from my perspective the way Nintendo used the GBA/Gamecube link cable makes far more sense than the "play your game on the road" thing happening here. Take Harvest Moon for example- two totally different games that were enhanced when data was shared. One game is designed for home use, with longer play times assumed and a save system that doesn't get used too often, and the other for portable use, with a save system two button clicks away. So long as it's mostly pick up and play stuff crossing over between PSP and PS2 I don't see a problem, but that first RPG might be tricky at best.Quote:
One of the main reasons I think the majority of people want a PSP is to play their PlayStation 2 games on the go. It was announced that you'll be able to share data between the PS2 and the PSP so that you can work on your PS2 game file on the PSP version of the game.
Plus I don't think paying $50 for a PS2 game and $50 for the same thing on PSP is the best possible use of my gaming dollar. Of course, I'm hardly one to talk about a budget seeing as I'm spending $250 on a handheld.

I don't wanna sound too confident. I'm a little worried about Nintendo fouling up, believe me. And still, look at how many DS's have been sold. It's already a successful system, people seem to keep forgetting that. But I guess we will know more in a few years as you said. I still just have a feeling the GB brand name is really strong.
