HOLY FUCKING ANNOYING
They made a fucking ESCORT MISSION one of the last fights in the game. On Spartan, this fight is a goddamn cocksuck. I shudder to imagine it on God difficulty. Ugh.
I heard that subjecting a child to repeated viewings of Equilibrium constitutes as child abuse in 48 states.Quote:

The day it hits 20...shit even 30, I'm on it.
Yeah, sometimes I feel kinda lost in the execution. It's like a bunch of really awesome game designers got together and were like, "What would be fucking badass to have in a game?" and somewhere along the way one of the guys had a retarded brother that came in and they decided to add his ideas.Quote:

The hell did that come from? Then came the freakiness that was in Pandora's Temple. I'm running along, by this point having only died a couple times from retarded jumps and once or twice from enemies... and suddenly I run into some puppies and get my ass handed to me three times in a row. Something isn't right when the most vicious enemy I have yet to encounter in a dark and evil game that isn't afraid to shy away from anything are puppies that bounce around. I figured out my problem was I was concentrating on the fully formed Cereberus because I thought they would transform after damage instead of time. Once I decided to go for the puppies first I immediately had no trouble and they all died quickly, but I was stuck for a minute.
Anyway, I'm a bit over four hours into it and in Pandora's Temple right now and have to say this game kicks a lot of ass. The whole thing is basically DMC + PoP + new visuals but it's done well enough that I don't mind how entire sections of the combat are blatant ripoffs of Dante's moveset and how most of the puzzles use only the exact same elements PoP did. Their finishing attacks are some of the most brutal hits I've ever seen in a game (the way Kratos finishes off the regular Sirens is one of the greatest things ever) and the story and design are absolutely kickass.
I'm running in widescreen and 480p so I'm not sure if this problem occurs normally, but there's this annoying refresh line that sometimes appears. It'll travel from top to bottom and slightly stutters the screen, I think it might have something to do with loading because it always seems to happen in the same areas and never during combat. There's also other small things that bug me, like how they can't keep everyone's outfit consistant (It's blue in-game! Wait, now she's wearing white in CG! Wait, now she's back to blue!) and how poor Ares' model looked while running through Athens, but these are all minor graphical issues (along with the occasional framerate loss) and don't affect the gameplay to any degree.
I'm gonna go back and play some more until my laundry finishes, this game is pretty damn awesome.
