Who gives a shit anyway, they're both fun games.

Parenthetically, I have it as DMC3: SE > NG Black > GoW. I won't even place Rygar in this tiering. I didn't care for DMC2, and didn't like DMC as much as most, but the depth and style of 3 got me hooked.

Like I said, I think it's solid enough. The main character is pretty cool, but no one else in the game has an ounce of personality. The ending is pretty lame. The game's presentation is a lot more outstanding than its story, really.

I never said ZOE's story was awesome, either. Though I do think ZOE2 has more interesting characters (and of course presentation that only Kojima's team can match).

GoW has some great cutscenes and atmosphere, I'll give it that. Too bad the actual game that ultimately ancillary stuff is wrapped around is an uber-easy mashfest that gives you no incentive to change up your tactics, while DMC3... isn't.

As an 'experience', GoW > DMC3. As an action video game, DMC3 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> half the other stuff in the genre > GoW.

I'm gonna go ahead and AWTP.

I need to go pick up DMC3. God of War went back yesterday. I'm bummed out cause I wanted it for so long and then it was just kind of lame.

What part did you get to?

I should've been right next to Aries when I quit. It just wasn't very fun for me. I guess I had about 2-3 hrs in it.
