I'm amazed that there's so much info on a technique I've been using for years. Even more that it has a name. How many times can you love the Internet?

I dont really dream, but I had the weirdest dream last night. I dreamt that I was both watching called Reanimator (like what they talked about in American Beauty). Except it was starring Kirk Cameron and Terry Bradshaw. It was in first person view, like I was Kirk Cameron. Anyway, it started out by me (Kirk Cameron) getting a hotel room with my girlfriend (who was some generic actress chick) and Terry Bradshaw. Then some shit went down and Bradshaw got killed, in a car accident I think. Then he woke up and killed my girlfriend, and started chasing me.
.... yea.
I hope that isn't actually waking up. You shorten your life if you conistently don't allow the REM stage to end.Quote:

I pulled the covers off and my whole room was a forest. The whole fright of the situation, woke me up for real. It was quite a shocker, for me as a child.
Hm, I guess I never thought of it as dreaming with in a dream. But as a kid I would wake up and think I was seeing stuff all the time. I would wake up and think my room had a bunch of bees in it, and I could not fall asleep because I was worried about the bees. Or I would think that there were people in my room, and since I was sleeping in my underwear I would be all self concious and try to cover up more than I was or something. And sometimes I would be really bothered by it and have to get up and turn on the light and prove to myself that they were not there.
It was never like I thought a pile of cloths on a chair was a monster, I would be like bees flying around the room. Or mice or something. My parents said I used to sleep walk a lot as well. Like I would knock on their door asking to get a ride to my friends house because we were late, or I would like walk down into the living room and turn on the TV really loud. And I had no idea about any of it.
I imagine lots of nerds have bad dreams. When I was in about the second grade, this was right after we moved, I had seriously bad nightmares. My mom got worried and took me some where for test and shit and they determined that I was lonely (I just moved, OMG SHOCK WTF Iron was lonely !?!?!?!).
