First of all, this has been making the rounds for a few days and the source is always another message board. I have a feeling that at least some of this list is BS. Probably concocted by by someone for any number of reasons. I can see someone making up Phantasy Star V for PS2 just to drive other people insane....

But I can't see someone making up Wonderboy! Why would someone go thru the trouble to make up a Wonderboy fake game? If that game is not real I'll be so disappointed. Wonderboy is one of my absolute all-time classic favourite series, and a GBA incarnation would be the fulfillment of something I have been hoping for for many years. I just don't see why someone would make that up, because it's not like many people would be riled up about it one way or the other. Heh...

Oh well, I am hoping a lot of these games are indeed reality. :)

Shining Force has already been announced by Sega, but no system has been named. I think the original incarnation of this listed no system with SF, so I think someone just added the Xbox to suit their own needs. My guess for SF would be GCN or GBA, based on Shining Soul existing on GBA already, and also there have been Sega / Camelot / Gamecube RPG rumours for a while............. but even so, if it ended up on XB or PS2 I'd not be too surprised either.

Oh well. I just hope it comes out and it's good........... and speaking of Shining Force, I hope Shining Soul is announced for North America!!!!

I pounded me desk in glee at the JSR TP (Xbox) part.
Then I found out the list is probably fake.
My hands hurt, and I'm blaming you *points* Andy787 !!!!!

Okay, I felt bad enough for jumping off the fence and buying PS2 for Virtua Fighter 4, only to find out a better version was coming to XB (I guess I should've known, but I wasn't going to wait around to find out otherwise). I only own three games for the damned system (Rez and Maximo round out the collection), and I don't have much interest in anything else out on the shelves right now. Contra looks very intersting to me, as does GunGrave, so I still have a reason to keep it.

But now I feel like I have to run out and buy an XBox. I reluctantly passed up GunValkyrie and the sequel to one of my favorite games of all time, Jet Set Radio. And with Panzer Dragoon Orta, Sega Rally, ToeJam & Earl (!!) and the speculation that Street of Rage is being developed (and had been hinted at since forever) for XB just puts me over the flucking edge!

Strangely enough, I'm not that interested in Sega's GC offerings yet, but I'm sure that will also change.

I don't know if I can afford to support both PS2 and XBox (and maybe even GCN). You have to be rich to be a Sega fanatic nowadays!

While all the other Xbox games I can understand, Shining Force I cannot. The Gamecube or Playstation 2 just seems much more likely, and better suited, for it.

Yeah, same here. I expected a GameCube version.
Maybe PS2 was out of the question because there is too much RPG competition there (one RPG in a small pond will probably sell better).

Assuming its true news, of course.

Why is everyone excited over this news?95% of it is BS. Ive heard about the SOR4 for the Xbox though.
