She lasted exactly as long as was estimated (14 days), and now the family Preist is saying he's shocked that America would allow something so horrible to happen. Shit, we've done a Hell of a lot worse than this. I was hoping the news channels would listen to South Park and maybe consider that she didn't want to be seen like this on (inter)national TV.
Thankfully, Michael Schiavo was there when she passed away. His family has stated that they (unlike the Schindler family) want this to be a private matter, and are refusing to do interviews. Michael has also been living at the hospice since the 15th of March, apparently. And the Schindlers are saying that Michael wasn't there when she died...oy! George W. Bush is going to give a statement in an hour or so. Also, CNN has been showing some depressing before and after pictures of her. They've got the Schindler famiily lawyer on, bashing Michael, and saying that there might have been TOO LITTLE MEDIA COVERAGE on this.
