Yea, dont delete that corrupted data icon. You can hide that nasty icon. If you're using a program such as PSP Brew or SeiPSPTool, etc. to load eboots to your PSP, they have an option to hide corrupted icon. On the first post, there are links to programs that hide the icon (if they even still work). There might be less than a handful of programs that dont work with this icon hiding, but all emulators shouldnt be affected.
As for Genesis, my bad. I just checked and I used PSPGenesis not DGEN.
