My card has been fucked up since the day I got it but haven't found a reason to go ahead and get a new one. UT3/Crysis will be what pushes me to get one, but until then I can deal with playing with crazy graphical glitches so long as my system is still running the game as smoothly as it has.
anyone want to try and play. I am tired of playing with bots.
I know its the same old UT formula but I love it. Only problem I have with it is the vehicle control, but aside from that the game is sweet as fuck. I got a 17-18 on that website yet i'm running everything full with no slowdown at all. Definitely a day 1 purchase.
I upgraded my video drivers and am able to play it okay now (although it still looks smeared in vaseline, but I'm attributing that to the fact I can't play at my monitors native res)

Just got back on campus impatiently waiting for download to complete so I can play online goty 2007.
Some of the old console commands work:
god = god mode toggle
loaded = all weapons and ammo
ghost = no clip
walk = toggles off ghost mode
Some new stuff that works in VCTF:
summon utgamecontent.utvehicle_nemesis
summon utgamecontent.utvehicle_paladin
summon utgamecontent.utvehicle_fury_content
summon utgamecontent.utvehicle_darkwalker_content
summon utgamecontent.utvehicle_cicada_content
These commands summon vehicles not included in the CTF maps.
Here is the summon command for that gel cube that slows everything down:

Has anyone been following the release of the 8800GT from nvidia?
It's supposed to be out within the week, and is already boasting speeds faster than the 8800GTS and almost equal to the GTX, and has a MSRP for under $250.
Oh and it uses significantly less power. I'm definitely putting on in my next rig. Should coincide nicely with UT3.
I saw it mentioned in a Gamespot news real the other day.
It's hard to judge how it's going to do until it's actually out and available to test, but I'm definitely keeping an eye on it because of the proposed price/power.
