Oh god, oh god I hope it's Darkseid.
Of course anyone other than Lex is fine with me. I am so god damn sick of seeing Lex as the main bad guy (or the guy in charge of the main bad guy) in Superman movies.

I wouldn't mind if only they'd have used the 'real' Lex and not Hackman-small-time-crook-with-delusions-of-grandeur-Lex.
Same here. Holy shit, that would be so cool.
IBTN. Enough with fucking Lex- Supes needs to be fighting guys that use skyscrapers as baseball bats. Watching a guy with his powers facing off against wimpy normal humans (especially the same one over and over) is boring.Quote:

as for the supes dvd and ps2 issues above, i have no idea what the problem ended up being. The movie would just not take anywhere near the entirety of the screen, and i had to end up using the TVs zoom feature.
Other players seem to get the image to fill the screen fine.
Returns sucked nuts. I expect the sequel to do the same.
Fuck Doomsday. I want Darkseid.
indeed
That's one of three upcoming direct-to-video animated movies being overseen by Bruce Timm, the architect of the long-running "DC Animated Universe" line of shows (although the new movies aren't set in that continuity, but rather based directly on the comics, right down to character designs based on the original comic artist's work).
That said, Doomsday would certainly be another possibility given the stated criterion, but ...or Brainiac.
Principal photography on the sequel slated to start this time next year. I'd guess that means we can expect it to come out in 2009.
