Blue Jeans

In the summer of 1998 in Freeport, Maine I bought a pair of Calvin Klien black jeans. To this day I have yet to ware a hole in them. Granted I ware them less these days, they have a lot of memories tied to both waring and unwaring them. ;)

But since I bought those jeans, I have yet to buy a pair to match thier durability. The average lifespan on a pair of jeans for me is 1 year 8 months ( at which point they have about four holes in them and one generally drops a nut out). The last pair I bought were (don't hit me) Tommy Hilfiger and they are fucking up at just over a year.

So my question is this: what are the most rugged jeans out there?

I've tried on $200 Diesel jeans that weren't cut as nicely as Levi's low rise straight leg jeans. Levi's are the best. I have been wearing the same two pairs constantly for over a year now and they're not showing any serious signs of wear.

I don't wear jeans, thank you for including that option. I only wear slacks/khakis.

I favor Gap Denim.

We were looking to blow Macy's certificates so I checked them out for shits and giggles. They're really nice jeans, don't get me wrong, but you get the same comfort from Levi's for 1/4 the price, so unless you're some kind of fashion whore there's no point whatosever. We got a $100 sandwich maker, though, and that kicks all kinds of ass. It lives in PA now, I miss it.

I might pay $200 for Guitar Wolf jeans, though. Well, if I had $200, I'd have a PSP by now, but anyway.

The Levi's Store here closed, which is a shame, because they always had jeans short enough for my stubby legs. :( It's kind of a pain in the ass to be 5'11" and need a 30" inseam. Actually, 29" was the best, but I've only seen those once.

I only wear DKNY and Diesel Jeans, so yeah, most of my jeans > $100. I do have a pair of CK that I like, but Diesel is by far my favorite.
