Maybe thats just the Japanese model with the handle. The handle slides out and you can then wheel the Xbox around like luggage since its so heavy. The poor Japanese couldnt lift the old XBox so this is Microsofts solution :)

I really hope that 360 nonsense is just a codename.

If you look at the picture we got from ourcolony.net for solving the first challenge, the snapshot of the controller looks exactly like the picture on this site. If that is the system, Microsoft really needs to find some new designers because that thing is just as ugly as the Xbox.

Ever see when they test new prototype cars? They never show the actual body of the car. They add a bunch of clunky padding and extras so the competitors can't see the shape of the car.

I would imagine they do the samething in console design.

But that is when they are testing the cars on public roads. And this was an internal demonstration, I doubt there would be any reason to hide the design.

Looks like the white and black buttons were transplanted to the shoulders--huge thumbs up.
