Better to have a feature that goes underused than not have one at all. I think if this is optional and used really just for parental control then it's a great idea. Less brats on live, the better.

This, and then there's the fact that it's a great way for Nintendo to cover their asses if/when parents complain. It doesn't matter if the parents use it, what matters is that the option is there.Quote:

This reminds me of that throw-away comment made by Kutaragi a few months back saying "I think the PSP will mainly be played in the users home." stating "Oh, we're going to make some bullshit device that only can last a few hours, meaning you should only play mainly at home." This was obviously debunked just a few days later.
This doesn't seem feasable, and I do not believe it.
They should do a poll: Do you intend to play your Revolution in your home, or in another state, or on the other side of the planet? And if people click "in your home," then lock up their Revolutions so they won't function outside your registered home address.
Don't give them any ideas.
Make it a trick question. If they enter >12 then the game won't let you play but if you enter <12 then you can play but all online modes are disabled. Everyone wins!Quote:
