New 2D Metroid for DS

I have an ngage qd, so I know it'll run it. I just don't have a way to get the files from my computer to the phone right now.

I enjoyed Fusion. There was nothing wrong with it aside from it being short and linear, which is hardly a crime. But I died plenty of times, so I would never classify it as easy.

Kind of disappointed Dread was cancelled, but I find it hard to believe there won't be another 2D Metroid in the DS' lifespan.

I've been playing Metroid Pinball for the last couple of days, and it's got me hungry for another proper game in the series - I really hope they manage to pull Hunters off.

I liked Metroid 2. It was pretty creepy.

And I agree with the gripes about Fusion (lack of exploration, ease, etc.) but that didn't make it a bad game. Yes, it's the worst 2D Metroid game, but I still had fun with it.

Super's still perhaps the best game ever, Metroid or not.

BTW, Mretoid Dread was a cool name. Too bad it got cancelled. But like Strider said, I can't see them not releasing a new 2D metroid for the DS at some point.

I liked Super Metroid alot but I still don't understand how anyone can say it's the best game ever. Top 20, sure, but #1?

Yeah, DS is probably the last viable 2D system for Nintendo (did they release a single 2D GC game?), so either we get a 2D DS Metroid, or Zero Mission might end up being the last of them. *Goes back to pinball.*

DS is kinda disappointing in terms of 2D, honestly. Alot of the 2D DS games look like slightly higher res GBA games.

I know it's a matter of opinion, but if Super Metroid isn't than what is? I mean, what game is sooooo much better than Super Metroid?

If you think it deserves to be in the top 20 of every game ever made ever then #1 isn't too much of a stretch =\
