Most of those counties, still offer drinking establishments though. They have a loophole in the law, that allows drinking in clubs that have memberships. The way they got around that law in Dallas county, was by selling memberships in the form of the Unicard. I don't know if that exists now though.

Even though Dallas county doesn't sell alcahol, I've never heard of anyone getting a citation for having a bottle of liquor in thier vehicle. If that was the case, you'd see every guy driving a Budwieser truck getting pulled over.

I'd take this one to the courthouse. The cop probably won't show up to dispute it and you'll get out of the citation.

eh, we we're video taped, audio recorded, and it was two cop cars. I don't want to call that bluff. This isn't like writing someone up for having non married sex. They write people up for this daily.

Do dry counties have supermarkets where you can purchase beer?

Safeway w/o a beer aisle is...not Safeway.

Dry means you can't purchase any kind of alcohol.

The first time I went to a grocery store in Dallas and asked where the beer section was, a guy told me it was dry. I thought the guy was talking about the hot weather. Little did I know about Dry Counties.

You can still purchase alcohol in Night Clubs though. You just can't buy it at the local convenience store.

Dry counties hate Freedom.

We have a few dry areas in the northern territory, but they're in place due to the sheer amount of crap that happens there caused by poverty stricken drunk aboriginals, so they're actually good.
