Lost Kingdoms (f.k.a. RUNE) for GC

I've been keeping an eye on Rune since it was announced, and something about it just appeals to me.

I'd pick it up on release along with a GC, except for the fact that I've been spending WAY to much on Saturn stuff lately...lol

I was THIS close to buying the game today but I haven't seen much impressions.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this game if you had played it. I'll be getting my paycheck next week so I might pick this up. Any idea of game length??

Damn, as soon as I move home for the summer, a fine looking GameCube game comes out and my housemate takes his Cube home with him.

Got it today. Quite good, better than I expected. Look for detailed impressions from me in the next day or so. in the meantime i can field any questions anyone may have.

Hmm, how are the graphics? The box shots don't look too hot and no sites seem to have good pics of it, does it look like basic Dreamcast graphics or above solid good gamecube graphics?

the whole time I was playing it, i was trying to categorize the graphics. The graphics remind me of PSO for DC. In some ways its better, but in some ways PSO looks better. Overall, its a pretty decent looking game. 7/10 maybe.
The music is really good though. loading times are short, and the presentation is really good. a lot of love went into making this game. Top 5 cube titles so far, I'd say, not that that is saying too much. A great game to sweeten up the wait for eternal darkness and mario, thats for sure.

Yeah, its a good buy. Im gonna keep it. Hell, this is the first domestic console game i've boughten this year. If you're into RPG's with a focus on action, you'll dig Lost Kingdoms. Now we just need a US release of gold star mountain...
