S-E Did not say they were NOT going to make a FF7 Remake.
They said the currently had no plans to, plans change, but meh, i could careless if it was a remake. Sure i love the game but i dont know if id be running to the stores to get a copy launch day, or that week or month maybe. Money is tight.

Actually, take Star Wars for a moment... remember how the Tie Fighters had those boxes around them? Because of the technology at that point, they couldn't do better than that. Now, we can go back and retouch the scenes via computers so that the boxes aren't there anymore. Does that then mean that Star Wars doesn't hold up because of that and wasn't a good movie from the start?
Okay, I honestly wouldnt mind seeing a graphically updated version of FF7 come out with new bells and whistles - like Neo Zeed or someone said earlier the graphics are a bit hurtin for anyone playing through it this day and age.Quote:

Id agree with you if Square's last few RPGs has good storylines, characters, and gameplay. Their PS2 stuff isnt even fit to wipe the ass of their PSX stuff and this trend wont reverse itself with PS3. Id take a remake of any of their 32-bit RPGs over a new game at this point. Especially if they try to fix the flaws of the games (FF8 with a less whiny character and better pacing, for example).Quote:
