There's a chance that I may be moving to Southern California in the near future, and the time has come for me to re-up my cellular account. Is there anybody here who lives in the SoCal area and has Cingular? Generally, how are they? That's who I'm with now, and I'm wondering if I should just stick with them, or look into somebody else.
It depends on where exactly you're moving.
I have AT&T (same thing now) and my reception is really good throughout all of San Diego County.
Cingular is decent in LA, but Verizon is the best.
I've never really had any issues with coverage unless I go into the canyons, but nobody gets good reception there. I've heard Verizon is better, as well. If that's the case, go with them.
i've heard the exact opposite. Nationwide Verizon is best but LA it's shit, at least in the downtown/USC area.Quote:

I have Cingular in San Diego county, just like Rhydant, and my reception is great.
Whenever we go to LA for E3, my phone (Verizon) has solid reception while some other guys from the office don't. But I don't know what providers they have.
