Growlanser official appreciation thread

Tigana and I saw a copy of Growlanser III for PS1 for sale and we're both thoroughly confused about this. I didn't think anything of it a the time because I didn't know much about the series, but I've looked at the cover art for Growlanser 1 (the only one GameFAQS claims was released on PS1) and it was DEFINATELY not that... And both he and I distinctly remember it being III, and the boxart for G3 on PS2 does rather resemble what I remember it looking like...

Does anyone know what the hell we saw?

You should buy it.

It's at an indoor "flea market" kinda joint so they keep funky hours. Sorta out of the way to go back and get it

Well Growlanser III wasn't released on the Playstation 1 so I can't say it's an original... there are some Growlanser discs for the PC (games and collections of material) that I'm aware of but none of them say Growlanser III and they definately don't say Playstation ;)

I know what you mean. We have one of them around here. They're only open on Friday and Saturday mornings from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
