Trace Memory
This DS point and click adventure(AKA Another Code) is now out in Europe and Australia. North America has to wait a couple months. I'm hoping someone here bought it and can give impressions.
There are a few reviews out there - http://www.metacritic.com/games/plat...ds/anothercode but I'm skeptical when games of this genre are reviewed.
-
Yeah, I'll buy this regardless of any reviews (so I won't read them and ruin some of the surprise) because I love the genre. I also feel the need to support it since a game like this would almost certainly have stayed in Japan if the DS wasn't in such desperate need of new software.

Adventure fans seem to enjoy it, but then again I think they tend to overrate adventure games in general (if it doesn't outright suck, it's great), so who knows.
-
I'm definitely looking forward to this. It's not my prefered style of the genre (I much prefer the Tim Schafer brand of point and click adventure games to the Myst/Syberia style), but I hope it turns out good either way.

Wait, it's in English? IMPORT GET!
-
Wow, sounds good. This is the first I'm hearing of this, thanks.

Never really looked at this game 'til now. Just watched some videos and it actually looks pretty interesting.
-
I've been looking forward to this game. I'm sure it'll be great if it doesn't suck.
-
This is a statement I can get behind.

It is more an interactive novel than a game.
It is really too easy, I don't think a puzzle posed took me more than a few seconds to know what I had to do (the only one I could have had a problem I was spoiled by a review ...) and I usually suck at those games. The puzzles make good use of the DS capabilities though. And it is really short, I finished it in a little more than 4 hours.
