Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins (PSP)

Wow does that look amazing. The stills didn't do it justice.

The best part is when Arthur reassembles after turning into a pile of bones.

And you're right, the energy bar thing is feeble, but I'd bet the hit-lose-armor thing will be an option or an unlockable. The two Mega Man remakes are so loyal to the source material I have a hard time believing they'd jump the shark here.

The new video is fucking amazing! The day I heard news of a new GnG for the PSP was the day I decided to get a PSP. I'm really glad that Capcom is showing the PSP love. It's about time someone did.

UG&G looks awesome. They retained the original style nicely, much better than with Strider 2 it seems. I really like Strider 2 but Osman is the real Strider sequel as far as I'm concerned in terms of look and feel.

Agreed. Strider 2 played way too loosely for me to really get into it. Osman was slightly dissapointing once I finally got to play it, but I still prefer it as a Strider follow-up.

On topic, UG&G is amazing looking. This'll be what I update my PSP for.

It's looking like the PSP's GOTY for 2006. Maybe there will be an option to have the original GnG style armor (gone in one hit). It's hard to hold off for the US version unless the Japanese one's release date is not much sooner.

There is a God (this game looks stunning), it's just to bad he's a fan of handheld systems.

It's hard to believe it's been 15 years since I was drooling over the SG&G screen shots in EGM, it's about DAYUM time Capcom released a real sequel in this series.

It hasn't been 15 years since the last new entry in the series. In fact, it hasn't even been 7 yet. This guy even links to my review of it. :D
