God forbid something isn't as deep or unapproachable as SFIII. You'd have to be crazy to just like a game because you can pick it up and play it with friends that are doing the same thing! You know, I like SFIII, but there's a place for simpler games too.. this is why Marvel vs. Capcom 2 still gets played by me and all my friends. It's like Virtua Fighter and something like Soul Calibur or DOA.. One is really deep and I love to play it, but most of my friends don't, so I end up playing more of the others since they are easier for the casual gamer to pick up and play.
I am spoiled because Alpha 3 is one of the most poorly programmed fighting games of all time and I do not enjoy it.
According to TNL-Logic, Bubsy 3D is now the greatest 3D platformer of all time.
CVS2 has 2 player only glitches, as does guilty gear, and I thought there was a very minor one with SFIII too. It really has to do with priority of placement for CVS2 and guilty gear though. (the game defaults to a certain character being in the corner verses the other, player 2 in both games I think gets to cross up certain times when the other cannot.)

I do not understand this sentence as SF3 is practically the essence of simple while MvC2 is just overloaded with all kinds of shit you have to keep track of and know about to even begin to play well.Quote:

FLASHBACK
I've heard this argument before.
I don't want to get off track, but I found SF3 Third Strike as something that took quite a bit of time to get into, learning all the moves, timing of a parry, etc... whereas MvC2 you can just mash buttons and win. I beat it without continuing on my 2nd time playing the game in the arcades.Quote:
