CT people, I need to get drunk

Goin' to get hammered at Cafe 9 in New Haven tonight. First round is on me. :)

If Cafe 9 sucks, it's within walking distance of many other bars and clubs.

Cafe Nine, like every other bar in New Haven that isn't Rudy's, sucks.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Cafe 9 is one of the best bars in New Haven. If you want to go to a club, then go to a club. Cafe 9 is a small bar with great live music (usually).

Actually never made it out Friday night. The friend that was supposed to go and be designated driver backed out.

Go to Rudy's. 372 Elm Street. Belgian frites with tons of sauce, Pilsner Urquell usually on tap. The bartenders are great, too. Excellent mixed drinks. Sometimes there are bands playing, it's old, pool table, crowded. Good stuff.
