Resolves IP.
Then fails at finding the DNS server.

give it a static ip on your network maybe? manually fill in the DNS address fields? run a friggin' name server off your computer?
Are you running through a router? I had a similar problem when my DMZ host was enabled with my router. If you aren't using a router I have no idea.
Try resetting your router. Pull the plug, put it back in.
Not though a router, directly from the Cable box to the XB.
