DS/Dreamcast = Both systems with a lot of innovative/quirky/niche games that are a LOT of FUN to play (and with a surprising and welcome amount of 2D stuff especially on DS)
Xbox 360 = Focused on full 3D /High Defintion gaming in mainstream genres (FPS, sports, racing, etc at least so far)
Sounds like complete opposites to me ;)
Oh and jsut in case you didn't already ALL know:
Super Princess Peach for USA DS = February 27th, 2006 :-)
Since everyone else is showing their DS love --
Yay Ds. It's awesome. Get one. It's kicks ass. Etc. :-P
Seriously, the DS has received more gaming time from me in the last few months than my Xbox, PS2 or Gamecube have combinded. Mario Kart DS and Castlevania are reasons alone to jump in, and then we have Animal Crossing coming up and other games that look incredible that I haven't played like Sonic Rush. Join the DS Revolution.

I'm loving this game even more than at first. I hope people don't avoid it when it comes out domestically because it's girly. Every Mario platformer fan needs needs this game.
Who would avoid it? A man lives in the woods and hates women would not. A woman who lives in a house boat and hates all other people would not. Even people who aren't attracted to women are hot for Peach.
The new Mario game looks kinda cool, but this looks like the kind of classic platformer (mostly) everyone's been waiting for.
I like how everyone has a DS but no one has this game. Maybe after the new Mario comes out I'll get one with both games.
Neo, how's the difficulty? Are there any other good platformers to look out for?
