Almost all marketing is bullshit. If people are dumb enough to buy into Sony's mad rantings, then I don't blame Sony for trying it. Judging by the intellectual level of your insults, I guess you might be in the camp that is still trying to find the missile launching button on the PS2.

You're dissing Nintendo for not making 2D games in a thread about the latest of several 2D Nintendo games. Retard. How many 2D PSP games has Sony made? I'd try to figure out how many games Sony has axed for being 2D but you can't count that high anyway.
You're comparing apples and oranges here. The PSP can respectfully do 3D. It's hard to blame Sony for taking advantage of their systems specs. Let's instead look at the console market, where both consoles have similar capabilities. Where are Nintendo's 2D games? Has Nintendo bought into the opinion that 2D only works on portables? If so, they're not doing 2D fans any favors. At least the PS2 has a ton of great 2D games, no matter who makes them.

If I was you I wouldn't feel lucky, but you've definately bucked the odds with Sony hardware.
I don't feel lucky, because the majority of Sony products are well made.

What does your shitty taste in NES games have to do with anything? Sony relies on third parties for it's biggest hits while Nintendo and Microsoft (to a lesser extent) don't.
I want you to say that Nintendo makes better games than Konami and Capcom. That will essentially end this discussion, because your taste will have been proven to be irreparably fucked up.

Right, I've had the misfortune of owning many a shoddy Sony product.
Many? After the first couple you didn't figure it out? Maybe I should be having a discussion with Pavlov's dog if I want logic.

Nintendo invented the real Dpad you mongoloid, and if Sony thought more than two controller ports were worthless they wouldn't keep pimping multitaps.
Nintendo invented the d-pad. Sega invented the real and only good one. Sony offers accessories for their customers who are interested in them. I have zero use for a multitap, so if that choice made the PS2 $5 cheaper for me, then I like the decision.

The world doesn't revolve around you. If we all had what you'd rather have the species would cease to exist, because nobody would like vagina. Xbox has both anyway so your "point" is moot.
Wow do I miss high school.

Three fantastic online games in three months is a fine pace. The partnership with McDonalds and lack of any user fees shows a lot more good faith than Sony ever has. People also like Xbox Live (which is what I was comparing Sony to in the first place, not Nintendo) and get annoyed when Sony decides to blatantly rip it off 3 years too late.
So which is it? Do you like Nintendo's rip off of Sony's model, or do you like Microsoft's soon-to-be-ripped-off by Sony model? Either way, unless you own three copies of Mario Kart, there aren't three "fantastic online games" on any current Nintendo system.
