You know you're hardcore when:
You're a male and you think Super Princess Peach looks awesome.
fixed for reality. :DQuote:

Bullshit.
Holy shit. Since when did other people on TNL agree with me about that? I take so much heat anywhere for trashing OoT. It bothers me because I just don't get it. Link to the Past is a much better game, so is Link's Awakening.Quote:

For some reason you and I have been agreeing on a lot of stuff lately D=Quote:

Maybe you played it too late in the game cycle. I don't know, I still think it's awesome.
It is awesome. That doesn't mean everyone will like it though.
The only Zeldas I completely love are the original and Link's Awakening. ALttP was great in most aspects, but the overworld just felt... dead. This was also the case in the original, of course, but there it felt like it was supposed to be. ALttP felt like it was supposed to be a kingdom, but was never anywhere near convincing. Link's Awakening had a much more convincing overworld to me (and as a bonus, some better puzzles as well).
Ocarina is odd. Some aspects are handled very well, and other times it feels horribly lazy. Hyrule Field is probably the most blatant example of the latter. Mostly it frustrates me because it felt like it could have been so much better, but as it is I think Mario 64 was the superior update, even if it wasn't as faithful to the originals.
