Exit
-
Exit does indeed look excellent. It appears to be a mixture of Donkey Kong 94, Prince of Persia, and H.E.R.O. If Exit plays as good as those obvious ancestors, I'll definitely be buying it. There are a bunch of screenshots and a video over on the official site for the game.
Games like this and Super Princess Peach definitely bode well for the future of 2D platformers. Here's hoping that Exit, like Super Princess Peach, gets released on this side of the pond.

Well, Super Princess Peach was going to get released here no matter what. Its a Nintendo game with a major Nintendo character in it.
This however is a different story, not that it getting released here even matters though. Its a PSP game, and the PSP has no territorial lockout.

Well, Toasty Frog seems to like it. Gave it a 9.0.
First PSP game I'm genuinely excited about in quite a while.

Is this from the Alien Hominid guys?
-
I don't believe so. This one of the few current PSP releases that makes me wish I had the system. I can't believe how sleek the art style is.

Lotta hype (especially from Parish, I definitley like his writing but he seems to run hot and cold, on this one he is HOT!!!) for what looks like a flash lemmings clone. 9/10 is mighty high for a game that Parish himself says has "sluggish" control and limited options (u can't go back down laddders once u start climbing, i don't care if it's not a platformer, that is lame) And "best looking PSP game to date"? :doubt: That honor goes to Daxter. It looks plenty interesting but I will wait for more impressions.

This is probably one of the only PSP games I'm excited about at this point -- overhyped or not. This is what the PSP needs.

It's a fucking modern day Prince of Persia or Out of this World....Hells Yeah!!!!

I picked this up. I've played through the first 10 levels. So far, it's really good. It is a fairly slow paced puzzle game though, so don't expect a lot of action. You basically have to figure out how to get yourself and the other survivors from point A to point B.
