I signed up for the Gametap trial and I'm really enjoying this.
Also, Gametap itself has improved enormously since I last tried it. Really nice.
Episode 2 is out, right on time, miraculously enough. See, Valve? That's how you do it.
Isn't this the first episodic content to ever come out on time?
Nah, El Dorado Gate came out every 2 months, but I never played them so I can't comment on how good or how long they were. Both Bone episodes were on time, too, but they were 6 months apart and the third one is on hold for a bit so that's not quite getting it right.
From here on, Sam and Max episodes are supposed to be monthly as well
Good news, fellow online distribution haters! Sam and Max is getting a retail release of the first six episodes.

So the 6th and final episode came out two days ago... Telltale made good on the promise of monthly episodes, and they got better as the series went on. I really liked being able to look forward to a new Sam and Max game each month, and I'm kinda sad that it's done now.
Anyone else follow these to the end? Favorite moments?
I waited for all of them to come out...not sure which method I'm going to play them now.
I'm glad I didn't wait. Monthly updates were fun, and it's not the kind of thing that works particularly better if you play it all at once. The episodes are self-contained stories.
