So yeah, at least this movie has a credible action star in it. Not to sure about how they plan on doing it, or who he's actually going to play(my guess would be Lei, as I seriously doubt he'll be able to pull of Forest or Marshall Law).
All they need now is a script that isn't a debauchery of the franchise(think Tekken the Anime), and a good "non matrix/non crouching tiger" choreographer.
Fuck this movie.
Its dead before it even came out.
Jet Li is chinese so I figure more than likely he'll play a chinese character and with him being Jet Li he'll be the main character instead of the Mishima family being the main characters. He could honestly play Kazuya Mishima cuz him and Kazuya have that sinister look in their faces without even trying but it still just won't seem right.
This movie would have been better off if they hired a good Japanese speaking no-name actor as the lead(s) and spent the rest of the money on a good script, a good score and special effects
This movie could turn out so good with tekken's storyline being as deep as it is but Hollywood is so predictable.
I'm still gonna watch it of course.
Well it'll have 2 be better than The Avenging Fist and this time it'll be official.
