RPGs are usually beyond useless to me, though. As awesome as it sounds, I'm a little more pessimistic than most.
Seriously Tain, it isn't.
I already pre-purchased this. Now I just have to plan to at some point have the free time to get into it. I'm terrible with RPG's if i have to take a break and walk away from them.
Oh well, it will be worth it either way I'm sure.
I'm expecting this to be the type of RPG that won't let you take a break and walk away from it. Anything less would be a huge disappointment.
I read Che's impressions. Is this going to be like Starflight and Genesis Shadowrun, with hundreds of star systems and nonlinear play? Can I just explore the galaxy with my spaceship and mine planets for money, and then tackle the story when I feel like it?
I sure hope so.
God that sounds incredible. Like I could play this game for the rest of forever and that would be enough because it's just that fucking good.
From what I've read you can cruise around doing side shit for a long time without progressing the main story.
