Huh? I think you've been sniffing some of that "lotion" the character in your comic currently has on his face.Quote:

edit: The crowd that doesn't make typos? I'm confused.
This topic just proves how comedy IS purely hit or miss.
Not just specific comedians - everything about it. Some people like this, some people like that. It's just the way it is.
Dane Cook is great to me but I can see how some people may not like him. David Cross and Larry the Cable Guy are two completely different types of comedians. By them arguing it just goes to show you that comedy is extremely different. At the end it's all about making people laugh but some people have alternative motives for being on stage (politics). I'm more into the pleasing the audience type thing. I mean Seinfeld was never about politics and he and Cosby are possibly the biggest comedians of all time. Dane Cook is shaping up to become the next huge comedian and these guys who have their niche audiences can't stand it. Too bad, so sad. That's just the way it is.
You can't go out there and have this attitude that so many comics have wherein they think everyone should like them - even other comics. Humans get jealous and that's the way it is. I don't think that Larry or David are jealous of each other - they are just two different types of guys.
Watching 2 successful comedians bicker about one another is in itself - hilarious.
Could I get some names? I'm genuinely interested in hearing this. Any of them near the calibre of David Cross or Bill Hicks?Quote:

^^^
We may have to pop in Gaiffigan again after we are done watching Yojimbo tomorrow night.
Jim Gaffigan:
"Hello there, I'm the manatee!"
Other sea creatures: "Sea cow."
Manatee: "No...really, I am...the manatee."
Other sea creatures: "Sea cow fat ass."
Jim Gaffigan is the man.
The french DID give us bottled water. I KNOW IT.
