Is anyone else following this hilarty?

Apparently Mr. Baum stole (gasp) this YTMND site and put his watermark on it.

This stirred up a massive shitstorm with the YTMND crowd and has led to a site raid that is going on as I type this. They've gotten Something Awful, Newgrounds, and several other sites involved too. They've already crashed the forum database and now they are in the process of spamming his upload link.

It's the best damn laugh I've had in a long time.

UPDATE: They've crashed the severs at least three times now and list of nerds participating in this "war" keeps getting bigger.

Freaky, I was just talking with a friend the other day about trying to start something like this across sites like YTMND/Ebaum/Something Awful/etc.

Now to wish for a pony.

Goddamn, these nerds are taking this shit seriously.

They are in the process of e-mail bombing as well as snail mail bombing.

There are about 500-something people constantly pinging the site and now they are sending a stream of negative feedback to ebaum.com's advertisers. They are seriously trying to destroy this guy.

That's a shame, because ebaums is funny.

Well eBaum's is fucked because he steals shit that is clearly marked.

Shit he even tried to steal Sega's little online Monkey Ball Game and he didn't even fucking bother to put it on his own servers. Sega got pissed and rightfully so.

Eric Bauman steals shit that isn't his, claims that it is, and refuses to take stuff down even if the original creator asks him to.

More importantly, however, he's a lying prick who's made an insane amount of money doing this (the guy's a self-made millionaire from that little site of his). He doesn't make any of his own content, and he doesn't get anyone's permission to use the stuff he puts up. He does, however, claim it all as his and profit off the advertising without giving the actual content creators so much as a single red cent or even the satisfaction of having their name tied to their creation (in the cases they actually do put their names somewhere, he edits them out).

Yeah, I know, "lol internet" and all that. But shit like that shouldn't fly.
