Obligatory magazine cover project:

I made care to tighten up the text, but I'm sure I've still got a ways to go.
I was also an idiot to choose that image. There's a LOT working against readability thanks to the 'A's on their chests and the crazy brightness.

Good job on the logo, but becareful with the text. The words at the top are too close to each other so the drop shadows are overlapping (look at the exclamation point).
Also, no mock magazine cover is complete with out a upc!

Rolling Stone doesn't have one! HAH!
Honestly I was concentrating so hard on getting the text to pop that I didn't even notice that. thanks, man, I'll keep it in mind.

I made a flash! :O
Also, could a mod kill the stupid, highway replacement images in one of my first posts? It won't let me edit them and my original host crapped out on me.

Hey, check it out, I do actual awesome work now. Just me and the person on the desk on the staff page. S'it.
It's my school's art & literature annual:

You guys should put what media the person used to create their stuff.
P.S. Alee Farohi is good.

We were going to put a lot of info, but barely anyone submitted anything but their name. They were also really difficult to get ahold of. Keep in mind, this thing was mostly put together by myself, the shaggy-haired fellow with the glasses on the staff page, and the girl crawling on the table behind me.
...and, yeah, that Alee fellow is frigging amazing.

I really hate that typeface you have on the Rollingstones cover. Cool choice of photo, I like it. It's bold and it would get my attention on the rack.
Your flash movie is very entertaining and educational. What music is that? Its weird and fits the flash movie to a T.
-
Cats on Mars from Cowboy Bebop.
I couldn't find any other typeface I liked for my cover. I mulled over choices for weeks.

I like flash movie quite a bit yea.
