Is the graphical leap between the PS3 and 360 really going to be that much difference than the leap between the PS2 and XBox? I dont believe it will be. Its all about the features and I cant wait to find out what the PS3 is going to do. PSP does some cool stuff so I cant imagine PS3 will be feature less.
Revolution will do 248 Gigaflops. Which is not say it will be more powerful than PS3 or 360.
The rumor is that we will be waiting a long time for PS3, and that it will be in short supply when it gets here.

Who knows how much truth there is to that though...
If Sony ships 1 million domestic units, that will be 3x what Microsoft managed at launch, and (I believe) nearly twice what they had for PS2. It also isn't really far off - those are the rough dates everyone's been throwing around for PS3 since last summer.
But, it may still leave them in a 5-6 million unit hole in North America compared to MS by the end of 2006. Nintendo may reap the rewards most - their system should be far easier to get onto shelves.
You honestly think that MS is going to sell 5-6 million units in North America with the shadow of the PS3 over them? If the PS3 meets expectations at E3, a large percentage of people are going to wait. MS really, really blew it by not launching only in NA in 2005 in order to have enough units available.Quote:
