Here's the great part. The playable characters are Seung Kim or Nathan "Jammy Fresh" McCallister. If you achieve "You Rappin Cool!" the visuals go Parappa and the police join in and the cars start break-dancing.

I disagree with this. Ico, Shadow of Colossus, Ratchet & Clank, The Jak platformers, Parappa, Umjammer, Vib Ribbon, Gran Turismo, Omega Boost, Frequency, Eye Toy, etc. They're all pretty good games, and they've got a bunch of other first party stuff that was good too. Even if you don't like certain things (like Eye Toy, which is admittedly kinda niche) that lineup still demolishes Microsofts stuff.

Microsoft:

Azurik, Kakuto Chojin, Tao Feng, Nightcaster, Grabbed by the Ghoulies, Amped, NFL Fever, MLB Inside Pitch, NBA Whatever It Was Called, Whacked, Brute Force, Counter Strike, Fuzion Frenzy, Midtown Madness 3, etc.

I like SOME of their first party stuff (Halo, PGR3, Crimson Skies, Mechassault, Fable, KUF, Jade Empire) but for the most part it's rubbish.


To say the two companies first party efforts are only like 3 percent different in uselessness is not really fair.

Yoshi's list is good aside from the fact that I can't imagine anyone other than diffusionx calling Sin & Punishment shitty.

S&P isn't even in the same genre as Contra. It doesn't make any sense.
