Enough with the trip down Nostalgia Lane people.

Saturday morning cartoons have and always will be brainless, moronic tripe.

Go back and watch any of the cartoons we grew up with like Thundercats, Transformers, G.I. Joe or He-man and I garuntee you will find nothing but garbage.

The same regurgitated plots, stupid one-liners, one-dimensional villians and utterly worthless "moral of the story" dialouge at the end of every episode.

We were all idiots and our childish brains had no way of knowing we were watching pure trash back then, but our adult brains should readily recognize this. Stop pretending that cartoons were any better back then. They were just as devoid of intelligence then as they are now.

Having said that, GHOST IN THE SHELL ROCKS YOUR BITCH-MADE ASSES!

That is a bummer, I used to like watching Double Dare as a kid many years ago. They played it on our local station in syndication long before we got satellite. I'll just miss seeing it in general, the cheesy sets, goofy promos and slime, ect. I guess they must be cutting costs.

Oh man. Me and my brother's favorite Rocko episode for all time will always be Wacky Deli. When they make that incomprehensible restaurant "art" movie and just totally confound Ed's son with how bad the film is? :lol: We still quote that one to each other now and then.

Shame nothing ever came of that supposed Rocko cameo in the spongebob movie (Mr. Lawrence was supposedly quoted as saying he'd have a quick appearance). :(

Speaking of Rocko's Modern Life, does anyone here watch Camp Lazlo on Cartoon Network? It's done by Joe Murray, the same guy that did Rocko. Not quite as good as Rocko, but entertaining nonetheless.

Well, DUH. Which of those wasn't made to push a toy line? Nickelodeon Doug is still awesome, so there.
Not that it was all that good, but the new(est) He-man cartoon was many, many, MANY times better than the old one.

I agree with everyone that has noted how everything we watched as kids is also pure shit. Stop with the nostalgia trips and actually try to watch a few episodes in a row of some of the trash you used to like.

I watched Howard the Duck recently. It sucked really hard. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is also shit. Even the Transformers TV show is hokey garbage.

P.S. Also... all that Hanna Barbara crap we used to watch in grade school? Shit. All of it.

Even though they're not Nick shows, I know at least half of you queens watched Saved by the Bell or Family Matters at least three times a day because that shit was on all the time. Try to watch it now, because it sucks. They're probably the worst television shows ever made. Even Full House is immeasurably more watchable.

The same goes for Ren and Stimpy, Doug, Rocko's Modern Life, and Welcome Freshmen.

Salute Your Shorts and Alex Mack are actually watchable and sometimes entertaining. Alex Mack mostly because she's hot as fuck jailbait.
