One thing China has over the United States is the fact they have 20,000 more tanks. One of their newer tanks (Type 90 possibly) has some impressive systems even when compared to the M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tank and they can build it for 1/12th of the cost of an M1A2 MBT. Their air-force is still worlds behind and their Navy is non existant however, give them 10 years and they'll be able to put up an impressive fight in a conventional war against the US if said thing even occurs.

That was before they started putting out their own competetive and comparable military technology, before that they've been riding Russia's/Soviet Unions dick for everything. They'd probably still lose out but based on their economy they're able to build a lot more military power then we are.

We have a pretty good bomb, though.
