My condolences.

There is no real justice in this situation. Death penalty or whatever else, the victims suffer regardless; what is gone is lost forever.

I believe you, in that one can not understand this type of loss until experiencing themselves. The very thought of my fiance murdered fills me with such an irrational rage it almost brings tears to my eyes. I expect that emotion is many times magnified for you, and exponentially moreso the closer one is to the deceased.
