Drill Dozer

Very cool game. The bosses are fun as hell and have that old school flavor. The levels are kind of weak early on, but they get better the farther you get into the game. Loving it so far.

You know how reviewers are saying the last boss sucks? Well, the whole last level is pretty terrible, like they were only half-way done with it and had to wrap it up. It doesn't even feel like a last level, much less a last boss. It's so dissappointing when the rest of the game is so good.
Once you beat it, you're able to buy the strongest drill and some more extra levels, so you're still only about... 2/3 done, MAYBE. Every stage has a part that's only reachable with the strongest drill, so you'll definitely want to go back for that. Those extra levels are tough, too. Maybe there's a last last boss.

This sounds like a great game, I will put that on my wish list! :)

It is a great game. It's the best non-port GBA game i've played. That's not really fair, though. Nothing can beat Super Mario Bros. or SMB 3.

Doh, so the very end is disappointing? I'm a little past halfway... love it so far. Got owned on the train part. I love it so far, but I heard a lot of people complaining about the "flying stages". I'll get there eventually.

I didn't like the flying as much as most of it, but it's still enjoyable.
Don't worry about the last level. You won't even know you're there. There's so much to do afterwards too, it's not really a last level.

This game is great. The stuff only available after you beat the game is some seriously skill based stuff. As for the flying levels, you really,REALLY need to master hovering. It makes what seems to be impossible to do without dying, fairly easy.

Have you played Ninja 5-0?

No... It can't be better than Drill Dozer! It's the best!

I'm not baggin on DD because I really love it, but Ninja 5-0 is the best original GBA game by far.
