One annoying thing I've found when playing in TATE mode is that my TV cuts off the meter on the upper left of the screen. I'm sure I'll get past this but it's making it difficult to gauge exactly when I'll be losing my chain while learning. I'll also check out your movie when I get a chance Bern-D, but on my 56k line that likes to disconnect me that file will be fun to download. I'll try leaving it on tonight when I go to bed. Oh, and thank you for the advice.

I finally caved in (geddit? hahaha!) and started playing with the popular C-S ship. Managed to score 37,104,390. I played like i was a god on st5. I'll send you the raine demo when the new version comes out or something.
I guess you still have a higher score than me (I don't count my old mame32 lame scores anymore) but I'll soon bap ya!

After playing a bit more with C-S and discovering how to beat those tricky bosses and where to position myself on st5 i managed to pull out this score after surviving all the way to the last boss. I hadn't even seen the last bits of st6 so I didn't have a clue what shot patterns and enemy formations to expect so I just bombed and dodged for all I was worth.

I've got it all "on tape" I haven't bothered to find the DL for the fixed raine .35b yet so i havent checked if that one runs the demos yet.
