Imagine you are driving and get into an accident and injure someone badly. At the scene they find you have an expired license. Jail time isnt even a question.

Years ago I got a ticket from a game warden in Michigan for fishing without a license...I ignored (didn't pay) the ticket. I also ignored subsequent mailings/warnings to pay the ticket.

Six months later a game warden (Mi Dept. Natural Resources) came to my door and arrested me. I payed my fine and was released. (I never stepped foot inside an actual jail).

My point: I almost went to jail for fishing without a license...He (Cheney) carelessly shot a guy while hunting without a license...I bet absolutely nothing happens to him. Matter of fact, he's probably laughing about the sh*t while tossing back a brew.

There's a reasonable possibility that Cheney will undergo a grand jury investigation if the guy dies. Otherwise, I imagine he'll walk scot-free.
