I currently have a Sony Ericsson T616 which is showing its age. I'd like to upgrade to a new phone that is capable of playing games like Doom RPG and Resident Evil: The Missions. Can anyone recommend a phone that should be reasonably capable for a year or so? I realize any longer than that is lunacy, since the damn technology is moving too fast. I'm currently a Cingular subscriber, if that makes a difference.

I recently got a Razr v3, from what I've read it's very capable with games but I'm hardly an expert on the subject.
I've been scouring the internet trying to find Doom RPG recently.
Since the thread is up, anyone know if a blackberry or a sidekick (have an opporunity to get one free with year contract) will play the Sonic the Hedgehog download from Sega? Blackberry for the win but just curious on compatibility stuff.
