The PSP analog nub actually worked really well for this. I only got to briefly try it at E3, but I'm definately going to pick this up when it comes out.
Question, though - I have the Japanese PS2 version, so I've just always been used to the songs being in Japanese, and never thought about them being in English. Were they in English in the US PS2 version, or is that new to this version?
There was only one sung song in the original, and it was completely j, unless it was crazy English i couldn't understand. The jibba jabba was English.
English for everything except Flyin' to Your Heart.
I really liked the nub for this, it worked better than the PS2's analog stick by a long shot. On the other hand, the PSP's buttons aren't as responsive and I kept missing notes I could hit with my eyes closed at home.

I just picked this up over the weekend, it's totally killer. The nub is alot better for tracking lines than I thought, and the music comes in really well, even on the tinny little PSP speakers. I haven't tried any of the new songs or Master's play yet, but I'll keep you posted.
But otherwise, this is straight up goodness. The only differences you might, MIGHT notice are the lower poly count for some of the models.
EDIT: Menus are all in english, there's no reason not to get the import, seeing as how the domestic version is currently slated for Feb of next year.

(late response) The only ones with really any lyrics were Flyin' To Your Heart, 21st Century Boy, and Nuff Respect, and I'm pretty sure the first two were still in Japanese in the American version (no idea if the last one was in English or Japanese in the Eastern version so I have no idea if it was that way originally). The speech on top of them from the characters was all in English, naturally.Quote:
