Excellent point, but such gaps are filled every day. The amount of information that comes in to affirm the theory of evolution is staggering. sethsez was just saying that Christians tend to use this as a "final" argument that evolution is bunk, when it's really not even close to that. To use a line from good old Rummy, absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

Human foreheads have gotten much larger in the last 650 years. It's not unreasonable to expect that over millions of years, we could've come from anything.

I saw something on the Discovery channel years ago about how vaginas are slowly moving closer to the front of the body over time because that's how humans generally do it.
