Event Horizon was awesome all the way through. But Anderson was just the director on that one, not the writer. The trick is to get him to direct other people's scripts, not his own.
Agreed, he really does suck at directing the shit he writes. I do love MK and EH
Maybe the studios think he directed There Will Be Blood.
