I always thought there were a ton of NiGHTs fans on here, but maybe they all died or something...
So you can't control the camera at all in SMG??? That doesn't sound very reassuring to me.

The way it's broken intos small planets makes it easier to figure out where the camera needs to be. I had zero problems. But indeed, as far as I can tell, the camera is not controllable at present.Quote:

Didn't you ever play Samba? Thats like the coolest song on there, bar none. C'mon man...Quote:

Just watched the spider video, that was great stuff. The robot is still my fave baddie though at least visually. The space theme gives it such an epic appearance. There was one shot I have seen a few times where Mario is on a planet and you can see the earth (?) in the background with a sunrise. Nice.
No, sadly I never did but now I really want to.Quote:

And it's kind of late to say it, but I thought it was really cool that Mario Galaxy was borrowing ideas from Shadow of the Colossus too. The idea of a first party Nintendo game looking to a first pary Sony game for inspiration seems kind of odd, but at least they can still recognize great game design.
You know... Without my glasses, when i saw the first bit of Mario Galaxy, i thought, "OMG! It's Nights!" I don't know if i said that already.
you did:
